Craig Best

Owner

Craig Best grew up on a small corn and soybean farm near Lafayette, Indiana. He enlisted in the US Air Force out of high school and spent his 8 1/2 years in the military based in Northern California. Upon visiting Montana after his military service, Craig instantly felt connected to the Missoula Community and returned to live and work in Missoula in 1995. At this time, Nature’s Best was born.

At a young age, on the farm and through his military experience, Craig learned what hard work and dedication were all about. Owning his own business and successfully growing Nature’s Best from one truck and trailer while working solo, to 24 trucks and trailers and 38 employees, has not been easy but it has been a rewarding journey.

Today, Craig continues to be at the helm and is the face of Nature’s Best. He is widely respected by his colleagues, competitors and both residential and commercial clients. Aside from making his clients and employees happy, he manages to find the time to be a great dad to his two growing daughters.

Jake Entringer

Irrigation Specialist

Jake was born in Agana Guam and moved to Hawaii with his family for a few years. With both parents in the military, home jumped around a lot. Finally settling down in Bozeman freshmen year of High School (1997) he now definitely calls Montana home. Jake has been in the lawn & landscape industry for 13+ years and brings a wide variety of experience to Nature’s Best. In his spare time he enjoys golfing but most of all spending time with his wife and 2 young children.

Steve Carpenter

ISA Certified Pruning Specialist

Steve Carpenter grew up in the beautiful Mission Valley of Montana, spending his summers roaming the canyons and peaks of the Mission Range. He moved to Missoula in 2001 to attend college at the University of Montana. He now explores the local hills, rivers, and lakes of the Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys with the amazing people he has met locally and old friends alike.
He has been a part of the team at Nature's Best, Inc. since 2005 and is currently the ISA Certified Landscape Pruning Specialist. He has nearly thirteen years of experience in the field. If it grows he can prune it!
